INTUITIVE PERFECTION
The extraordinary balance and weight distribution of the Blaser FBX allow for optimal swing characteristics and fatigue-free shooting. Essential for this is the Fat Body receiver with semi round contour which guarantees a stable center of gravity on the hinge pin. Due to its balanced overall composition shooter and shotgun become one.
GENTLE POWERHOUSE
The advanced stock geometry of the Blaser FBX is complemented by a soft recoil pad with large contact surface. Together with the FBX’ optimized weight distribution, this significantly reduces felt recoil. The geometry-driven linear recoil design minimizes muzzle flip for seamless second target acquisition.
WHEN MOMENTS COUNT
The combination of excellent trigger characteristics and inline hammers enables particularly fast, intuitive firing. The proven Anti-double system (Inertial Block System® – IBS®) allows for a light trigger weight.
A new balancer system is integrated in the fore-end of the Blaser FBX. This allows the weight distribution to be customized to shooter needs. The low center of mass enables improved shooter control for reaction without delay.
The sophisticated barrel geometry of the Blaser FBX ensures maximum velocity of the shot, an optimized pattern, and recoil reduction. The barrels are available either with new extended thin-walled multi chokes or fixed chokes. The ventilated side rail improves barrel cooling and reduces the weight of the barrels, which results in a better balance of the shotgun.
The special stock geometry and large contact surface of the recoil pad result in less felt recoil. Due to the vertical geometry of the pistol grip, the firing hand assists in recoil management, reducing the impulse felt at the shoulder. Thanks to the balancer system integrated in the butt stock, the balance of the Blaser FBX can be adjusted according to personal preferences.
The modern Fat Body receiver combines a traditional design with optimum balance and stability. The integrated Anti-double system IBS® and the Ejection Ball System EBS® provide reliable function and a smooth, fast, and seamless reload. The receiver in monocoque design with detachable trigger unit allows for easy maintenance.
The DLC coating (Diamond Like Carbon) in elegant black on all visible steel surfaces, including barrels, receiver and trigger guard, provides exceptional hardness and industry leading corrosion protection.
